The Kentucky Derby meets Cinco de Mayo at this Fiesta de Caballo from 3-7 p.m featuring one complimentary drink, appetizers and drink specials including $12 mint juleps and El Guapos made with Herradura Silver Tequila Cocchi Americano Aperitivo, grapefruit, cucumber and lime. Also look for a hat contest and raffle as well as a DJ. Tickets are $25, with all proceeds going to the Sotherly Foundation, the non-profit arm of Sotherly Hotels dedicated to helping wounded American veterans and can be purchased here.

Superica. The Krog Street Market location of Ford Fry’s Tex-Mex spot will serve up a Mexican street food menu featuring BBQ pork tacos, cheese quesadillas and chicharons on the patio, as well as buckets of Tecate beer, frozen slushee cocktails and Tamarind agua fresca. A DJ will be on hand from 9 p.m.-midnight.
The Buckhead location will offer a variety of grilled menu items on the patio, including $1 smoked chicken wings with pickle slaw. Tommy margaritas, blood orange margaritas and Tecate Lite will be available at the patio’s cash bar, with live music on the patio from 5–8 p.m. and a DJ inside from 8–10 p.m.

The local “FlexMex” chain is hosting Drinko de Mayo from April 30-May 6, with specials including $3 Grand Marnier floaters, $8 small and $13 1800 Cinco-Ritas and $4.25 Corona Lights on draft. Every location will have DJs and $5 cans of Modelo and Corona on Cinco de Mayo, while the Buckhead, Grant Park, Perimeter, downtown Atlanta and Mall of Georgia locations will feature large, outdoor celebrations.
A portion of the proceeds from each Cinco-Rita sold in the Atlanta area on May 5 will be donated to Bert’s Big Adventure, which provides provides chronically or terminally ill children and their families with five-day, all-expenses-paid adventures to Disney World.
