7 places to get lucky with St. Patrick’s Day dining, drink deals in metro Atlanta

If you’re thinking, Irish I had a pot of gold good food for St. Patrick’s Day, you’re in luck.

Wishes for delectable and afforable dishes will be granted on March 17 at these five restaurants in metro Atlanta.

Hampton + Hudson: Revelers will be able to party all day with $5 drink specials including Jameson, Guinness and SweetWater 420 Black Tans plus Irish food specials, live music and more. If you dress in green, you may be in luck; the best green outfit will win house cash at 9 p.m.

Johnny’s Hideaway: This Buckhead spot will offer complimentary corned beef and cabbage from 6-7 p.m.

McCormick & Schmick’s: This seafood and steakhouse will offer a bevy of bar bites for $5 including Guinness fish and chips; corned beef sliders; and corned beef and cabbage. Drinks will include Irish coffee, a mix of coffee, Jameson Irish whiskey and one sugar cube as well as Irish Blonde Blend, Guinness Blonde American lager topped with Guinness draught.

McCray’s Tavern: The festivities will feature all-day food and drink specials such as Guinness beer beef stew, corned beef and cabbage, $1 shamrock shots, $3 16-ounce Green Miller Lite pints and more. During the day, live music and Irish bag pipers will keep the atmosphere festive; at night, check out the DJ.

Meehan’s: Each location of the Irish pub will host a St. Patrick’s Day party, complete with $7 cocktail specials, Irish Car Bombs and Irish Mules. Each day leading up to the party, Meehan’s will feature a new $5 green drink.
