Isn’t it grand?
Grand Lux Cafe is set to join the roster of new tenants at Buckhead’s Phipps Plaza this summer.
It will be the first Atlanta location for the California-based chain, developed by the founders of The Cheesecake Factory. There are also locations in Florida, Illinois, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Texas.
The concept — which blends “the grandeur and luxury of European cafes with the sensibilities and spirit of an all-American restaurant” according to a press release will open on the upper level of the mall, across from Frontgate. The lengthy menu features a variety of appetizers, salads, pasta, pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, steaks and seafood and also offers lunch specials and a brunch menu.
Grand Lux Cafe will join previously announced restaurants Ecco and Daniel Reed’s Public Kitchen & Bar, which are also slated to open at Phipps this year, while Nobu Hotel and Nobu Atlanta Restaurant are scheduled to open in 2019.
