The long-awaited Korean steakhouse from the team behind several popular metro Atlanta Asian restaurant concepts is set to open for dinner tomorrow.
Noona, which means “older sister” in Korean, will focus on woodfired grilling and will feature a raw bar program. It joins Good Word Brewing and Public House, which opened in Parsons Alley earlier this month.
“The Block” at Parson’s Alley, a 30,000 square-foot restaurant (and retail) district surrounding Duluth’s Village Green, has also seen the opening of several other eateries, including Dreamland BBQ, Simply Done Donuts and Maple Street Biscuit Company. O4W Pizza moved to the area last year.
Across Buford Highway from Parsons Alley, a $64 million mixed-use project is also under construction at the site of the former Proctor Square shopping center. That is slated to include hundreds of apartments, a pair of restaurant spaces and nearly a dozen other storefronts.
Lo and Yu also plan to open Ramen Station at Larkin on Memorial next year.
Noona will be open for dinner from 5-10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 5-11 p.m. Friday-Saturday.
