One site ranked the best food in each state — here’s what they picked for Georgia

It’s “best of list” time, and the website The Daily Meal is has released its list of the best food and drink in every state.

Several popular Atlanta restaurants made the cut, though Savannah represented as well. The list includes:

Best Bar: Holeman & Finch Public House, Atlanta
Best Burger: Double Cheeseburger, Holeman & Finch Public House, Atlanta
Best Chinese Restaurant: Oriental Pearl, Chamblee
Best Craft Brewery: SweetWater Brewing Co., Atlanta
Best Cupcake: The Atlanta Cupcake Factory, Atlanta (now closed)
Best Doughnut: Sublime Doughnuts, Atlanta
Best Farmers Market: Atlanta State Farmers Market, Forest Park
Best Food Truck: King of Pops, Atlanta
Best Fried Chicken: Mary Mac’s Tea Room, Atlanta
Best Grocery Store: Whole Foods, Atlanta
Best Hot Dog: The Varsity, Atlanta
Best Italian Restaurant: Varasano’s, Atlanta
Best Mexican Restaurant: El Rey del Taco, Doraville
