It’s getting cold out there, which means it’s comfort food season, and nothing says “comfort” quite like a giant bowl of mac and cheese.

There are plenty of spots around metro Atlanta to scoop up the tasty dish, (check out readers’ picks for the best around town), but if you want to make your own, we’re big fans of the Truffleupagus from Muss & Turner’s East Cobb. It’s on the menu there, but Chef Todd Mussman shared a version of the recipe that you can try at home, too.

Get the recipe for Muss & Turner’s Truffleupagus at myajc.com, along with how-tos on three-cheese macaroni with butternut squash and taleggio and sausage mac and cheese.
