Next time a sushi craving strikes, head to Nakato. But don’t just order sushi. Take advantage of its drink deals.

Beginning today, July 12, customers can get Nakato Draft Beer, Gekkeikan Sake, and well liquor for just $0.77 each,. The promotion is good Mondays through Thursdays, until August 31.

The drink deal is one way that Nakato owners are celebrating their favorite holiday, The Stars Festival. Known as Tanabata, the festival recalls the meeting of the deities Orihime and Hikososhi who, according to legend, are separated by the Milky Way and can only meet once a year during the seventh day of the seventh lunar month., with this drink deal and a new sushi roll.

Pair your sipper with featured roll the Tanabata. The roll, made to represent Orihime and Hikososhi, looks like two distinct rolls, since toppings on one half feature eel and avocado flecked with dried chili pepper while the other half is gets a finish of fresh tuna and avocado topped with yuzu tobiko and wasab tobiko. However, the star-crossed lovers unite as they share the same filling of rice with mixed seafood, avocado and cucumber.
