Tuesday, June 13: For a two-hour hands-on class inclusive of making sushi rice and sauces; where to shop and what to buy; and how to safely and confidently serve raw fish at home, head to Second Self Beer Company from 7-9 p.m. Co-hosted with Birmingham Sushi Class, the session will include two rolls per person, a take-home cheat sheet plus a brewery tour with beer samples. Monday, June 19: Oak Steakhouse will join forces with Wild Heaven Beer for a five-course feast featuring pan-seared scallops, house-made pork sausage, Springer Mountain Farms whole roasted “beer can chicken”, Certified Angus Beef grilled New York strip and the final course—an ice cream sandwich. The first four courses will be paired Wild Heaven beer. The dinner party will begin at 6:30 p.m. and a seat at the table will be $70.
