Sweet Hut, the popular bubble tea and pastry shop,  has blown up of late with new locations around metro Atlanta. Now its owners are branching out with a new venture set to officially open this week.

Food Terminal will offer up a menu of Malaysian items at its location at 5000 Buford Hwy. in Chamblee, in the same complex as City Farmers Market. The restaurant is in soft open mode and will celebrate its grand opening on Friday.

“Inspired by the diverse flavors and crowded street of Asia, we want to bring true Asian street food from light snacks to full meals,” according to its Facebook page.

Dishes include a variety of tossed noodles, noodle soups, skewers, rolling hot plates including Nori Nori and Spiced Curry, garlic noodles with a choice of protein including lump crab and crawfish, chicken wings prepared with a salted egg yolk sauce, vegetable and roti plates, Thai chili eggplant, watercress with black bean sauce and crispy baos including pork belly and unagi.

The restaurant is open for lunch, dinner and late-night drinks from 11 a.m.-midnight, and also serves up dessert.
