I’m usually game to try a dish, even once. One time, however, my boyfriend’s mother had cooked something that was so foul that I started to gag as soon I walked through the door. My boyfriend was directly behind me, so I ran right into him as I turned to run out for fresh air. After a few minutes, I tried again. Same result. On the third try, I managed to remain indoors—with a handkerchief covering my nose. After, my boyfriend explained that his mother was cooking a southern delicacy known as chitterlings.

If it smelled like that in the pot, there was no way I was going to try to eat it, I thought. So I didn’t.

All of this brings me today’s poll: What food item do you despise the most?

Vote in the poll and share your thoughts in the comments section, especially if you have different, despised food item. Poll results will post in two weeks so get to voting or sharing on social.
