Two Atlanta spots were named to Bon Appetit magazine’s recent list of 50 Best New Restaurants in the county, and if you follow the Atlanta food scene, the selections should come as little surprise.

Staplehouse in Old Fourth Ward and Inman Quarter restaurant Bread & Butterfly have received major accolades since their openings in September and December of last year, respectively.

The Staplehouse team snagged a spot as a James Beard Award finalist for Best New Restaurant earlier this year, though missed out on the main prize.

The restaurant, helmed by Chef Ryan Smith, also received a three star review from AJC food and dining editor Ligaya Figueras

Bread & Butterfly, the latest restaurant from Chef Billy Allin, who also owns the much-lauded Cakes & Ale in Decatur and Proof Bakeshop in Inman Park, received a three star review from AJC food writer Wyatt Williams and was named the best spot for pancakes in the AJC Brunch Guide.

Bon Appetit will announce the Top 10 best new Restaurants in the country on Aug. 16. See the full list of 50 here.
