Bacchanalia and Star Provisions look toward new site and other Atlanta food and restaurant news from this week

In case you missed it, here’s what happened in the Atlanta food and dining scene this week.

Food and drink news

Bacchanlia and Star Provisions broke ground today on their new site at 1150 Ellsworth Industrial Blvd. Chef and owner Anne Quatrano announced in May that the two spots would leave their current home in the Westside Provisions complex after more than a decade. The relocation is set to take place in early 2017, and Little Bacch, another Quatrano spot in Westside Provisions, will close. Scroll down to see renderings of the new space.

MillerCoors takes majority stake in Athens-based Terrapin Beer Co.

Chinese restaurant Bamboo Luau has closed its doors on Cheshire Bridge, according to Tomorrow’s News Today.
