The new private dining space in the back of Kimball House, dubbed Bonanza! at Kimball House, will finally be open to the public on Friday at 6 p.m. after a series of renovations.
It will serve as a lounge on Friday and Saturday evenings, reports Kimball house partner and ace bartender, Miles Macquarie.
“We will serve wine, cocktails and small bites,” Macquarie says. “The room has it’s own entrance, bathroom, kitchen, and cocktail station. It will be pretty casual from a service standpoint and the kitchen will be focused on cheese, charcuterie, and a small selection of composed plates and raw items. We will be baking all bread in house and, of course, oysters and caviar service will be available.
“As far as drinks are concerned, we will be focusing on wines with many half-bottles available. The cocktail menu will be unique to Bonanza and we will be utilizing things from our garden and most will serve as perfect aperitifs. A small beer list of awesome and some rare bottles will also be available.”
