Each week, subscribers to PeachDish receive a box with two meal kits that include local ingredients and chef-driven recipes to carry you through the cooking process. As the only meal delivery service based in the South, PeachDish works with local chefs and vendors to utilize Georgia products in their meals, and ship them to both Atlantans and nationwide.
A few of PeachDish’s local partnerships include sourcing all meat from White Oak Pastures, Beautiful Briny Sea Salts, Spotted Trotter charcuterie, and H&F bread. During the week of Thanksgiving* and Christmas, special holiday boxes are available that include dishes from UNC’s renowned Savor the South, a series of cookbooks celebrating traditional Southern recipes.

And now PeachDish is tying in to support local as much as possible. For their “Cyber Monday” deal – Between Nov. 21st and Dec. 21st, PeachDish will donate $5 to the Atlanta Community Food Bank for every gift box purchased.
Many of these local initiatives are the work of Judith Winfrey, who joined the PeachDish team as President in June of this year. Winfrey co-owns Love is Love farm with her husband, and the farm’s CSA sources to more than 100 members weekly. She also previously worked with Resurgens Hospitality Group, Linton Hopkin’s restaurant group, as Chief Operating Officer. Here we talked with Winfrey about PeachDish’s recent changes, and what we can expect in the future.
What inspired you to get involved and take on the role of President at PeachDish?
With a background in food operations and organic agriculture, I was intrigued by this newly developed business model of shipping perishable foods through the mail. It’s not easy to do, and PeachDish has surmounted many obstacles in its pursuit to provide recipes and ingredients that are above and beyond what else is out there in the meal kit delivery space. I took on this role because I was excited about helping the business to its next level of growth. I know what it takes to get from seed (literally) to market, and I know how to prepare delicious food and serve it to people elegantly. I feel so fortunate to work with a company who shares my passion for bringing healthy, fresh, Georgian-grown food to a national market!
What makes it different from other meal delivery services?
We have a no-compromises commitment to sourcing only the best ingredients (local to Georgia and organic whenever possible). We love working with farms and purveyors who have great stories and are thrilled by the process of creating beautiful foods.
Do you think the popularity of meal delivery services is changing the scope of home cooking? Why?
Absolutely! I think meal delivery services are here to stay. So many people love to cook and are interested in learning new recipes but don’t have time to shop for and measure ingredients. People are buying nearly everything online, and food and grocery shopping is moving in that same direction. It just makes life easier.
